The flames escape the binding rather than remaining confined beneath it, while the layered broomcorn burns upward from shadow through ember and flame. It is a reminder that finding your voice is rarely sudden.  It builds, strengthens, and eventually cannot be silenced.

Product Description

This handcrafted athame besom stands approximately 23 inches tall. Built in layered broomcorn, it begins with a black core, followed by successive layers of deep red, orange, and golden yellow. The outer cloak is hand-dyed ombré broomcorn that transitions from black through ember red into orange, allowing the colors beneath to emerge like fire breaking through the darkness.

The neck is bound in black nylon thread and accented with flame-like fibers that appear to burst free from the binding. A stainless steel pentacle rests at the center, framed by the rising flames.

Bringing two traditional ritual tools together in one piece, this athame besom pairs the broom's role in clearing unwanted energy with the athame's purpose of directing intention, creating a versatile ritual tool for clearing and focused energy work. At its center rests a ceremonial Goddess athame featuring an embossed handle and sheath with an 8-inch stainless steel blade.
