Under the Black Moon
There are moments in the workshop when creation asks for stillness.
Late this summer, under the quiet pull of the Black Moon, I carried a bundle of handles out into the night and laid them beneath the sky. Not to work, but to listen. No candles, no fuss, just stillness. The air was electric and heavy, as if the world itself had paused to take a breath.
Those handles rested there for hours, from dusk till dawn, absorbing the moonless energy. The kind that stirs beneath the surface, whispering of shadow and transformation. The kind that reminds us to clear space, to soften into the pause before what’s next.
Each one carries that charge now, a silent current woven into its grain. I’ve begun building a small collection of brooms on these Black Moon-charged handles. Pieces for walking between worlds, shedding old layers, or simply seeking grounded clarity in the unknown.
